We take a pre-authorised damage deposit with a card machine on arrival. Please read the details about damage deposit fees below. We also have accident report forms for you to fill in. Please request one on your return or one can be emailed over to you.
When collecting a horse box or trailer we will walk you around the vehicle pointing out any damages. Customers are welcome to take proof of damages for your own records.
Please note we are not always around on your return, so we will check the horsebox over when one of our team members is back.
The damage deposit is a holding fee only, never cash, only via a valid card. It will be listed as “pending transaction” on your bank account. The holding fee doesn’t actually take the amount out of your account. If horsebox/equipment comes back as it should then the holding fee will be cancelled.
It normally takes 3-7 days for the “pending transaction” to be cancelled from the customer's bank accounts. If after 7 working days your funds have not been released please contact your bank, this is not something we control.
